Finally the long (long long long) awaited multi-server support (not that I ever needed it...). Mirc just becomes better and better with each iteration. I hardly can wait till my fav. script fully supports it. And about those Bersirc-kiddies: Bersirc is just a client for the novice user who likes colors...

I think I gotta do an embarasing U-Turn here. They've FINALLY implemented multiple server support, I'm back with Mirc. Bersirc is nice but DCC and other features are way unstable and it hasn't got nearly as many scripts and plugins. Right, /me is sorted.

Mirc is a joke. For years now they haven't implemented that most basic of features that most other IRC client have - the ability to connect to multiple servers. Instead, you have to open a new instance of the entire program. No thanks. While some of the features are a little unstable (such as the URL catcher and channel lister) Bersirc is fully featured, does multiple servers, has lots of scripts available and is written in Delphi. Oh, and free. It's a winner, Mirc is as good as dead.

Pretty much every windows user who chat's on IRC is using mIRC. The reason is the functionality, ease of use, and simplistic intuitiveness :)

mIRC is the same exact program we all used 3 years ago, there hasn't been any dramatic changes. I prefer Bersirc, its updated frequently and I like the fact that it uses Pascal as a scripting language. If any of you are looking to try somthing different, check out Bersirc.

i like the interface. easy to navigate. don't like the fact that it's shareware though. and there isn't too many features in it like other irc clients. still good though i'd give it 3 1/2 stars! ;P
